Rural entrepreneurs to multiply soon with developing technologies

The time has come when a next level of development is predicted for the country’s prosperity. Likewise the government as well as non government organisations are creating awareness to bring the development in education, health and professional progressment.

In the country like India, the main target is to develop the rural belts.On the context, an influential entrepreneur and founder of Hubli-based Deshpande Foundation, Gururaj Desh Deshpande, said in the next ten years, the world needs 75 million entrepreneurs to the run the global economy of which India alone needs 10 million.

“We must think and develop new technologies, but they must be useful to rural people. Therefore, we need social entrepreneurs and innovators to translate them into reality,” he said while delivering the keynote address at the Development Dialogue-2016 organised by Kakatiya Sandbox.

Phanindra Sama from and co-founder of the Kakatiya Sandbox said that we could find solutions involving the government and local innovators and entrepreneurs. Access, commitment and learning leadership skills from the government were the key to success, he added.

Jayesh Ranjan said people would surely believe if an innovative entrepreneur tells about a particular method in a particular field rather than the government. “Our task is to create a receiving mechanism. If we work together, public problems could be mitigated,” he said. Explaining about the functioning of the Kakatiya Sandbox, Raju Reddy said through his organisation, at least one lakh households were reached out to in Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Medak to motivate them in finding solutions by themselves to their own issues. The idea was to enable one million people in three districts to come out of problems like unemployment, hunger, poverty, illiteracy, farm crisis and so on, he said
