Shriram Automall Joins Hands With Escorts

Under the association, SAMIL would help Escorts’ authorised dealers to sell pre-owned tractors.

Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL), a 100 percent subsidiary of Shriram Transport Finance Company (STFC), has joined hands with Escorts to assist its authorised dealers in the disposal of pre-owned tractors. With an impressive sales growth in recent days, Escorts has been accorded as India's 3rd fastest growing company. This association with SAMIL is aimed at adding more value to its existing success.

"India, being an agricultural land portrays great potential for the tractor industry to grow. The current fiscal is expected to witness robust growth in infrastructure due to which tractors' journey in India is likely to pick up pace. A tie-up with Escorts is structured on the ground of providing a completely organized and transparent platform through which they can carry out the disposal of their pre-owned tractors", said Sameer Malhotra, CEO of SAMIL.

As per the agreement, SAMIL is entitled to conduct exclusive bidding events at the authorized dealers' premises of Escorts and facilitate disposal at its yards as well. Moreover, the Company is also going to make a way out for Escorts' tractors through its online bidding platform and private treaty negotiated deals. Under this association, both SAMIL and Escorts will work together while understanding the dynamics of pre-owned tractor market. Going deep into the pre-owned segment of tractor industry, both the companies look forward to transform the methods of disposal in this arena; thus making deals quick and efficient.
