RMAI to host Flame Awards Asia 2018 in May

Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) is going to organise 9th edition of “Flame Awards Asia 2018” for excellence in Rural Marketing and Communications, scheduled on May 4, 2018 in Mumbai.

RMAI Flame Awards Asia provides a platform to recognise the best rural marketing and communication projects, initiatives and practices in India and Asia Pacific countries. With the growing interest of companies in rural markets, these awards have seen a steep surge in participation both in terms of entries and entrants over the years.

The 2017 edition saw over several corporate and agencies contested in Flame Awards Asia, some of the entrants include companies like Hindustan Unilever (HUL), ITC, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Dabur India, Hero Motocorp, Indian Oil Corporation, GSK, Pidilite, Reckitt BenKiser, BBC Media Action and leading agencies like PHD, MART, Impact Communications, RC&M, Geometry Global, Group M Dialogue Factory among others. Over 300 business leaders, corporate, public sector and leading rural marketing agency representatives attended the award ceremony.

The entries were judged by an experienced and high profile jury consisting of S Sivakumar, CEO, ITC (ABD); KV Sridhar, Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Hyper Collective; Siddharth Banerjee, Senior Vice President, Vodafone India; Biswabaran Chakrabarti, Vice President - Brand and Channel Management, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals; Govindraj Ethiraj, Founder, Boom Live; Venkatram Vasantavada, President -Agribusiness, Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemical Corporation; Samir Gupte, Managing Director, SoHo Square; Muntasir Bhuiyan, COO, Market Access Providers among many other senior professionals of rural market.
 
This year too, RMAI has a line-up of Jury including market leaders, S Sivakumar; KV Sridhar; Jiteen Aggarwal, Head - Marketing Services, Mahindra & Mahindra Farm Division; KR Venkatadri, COO, Rallis; Tarun Katial, Founder & CEO, BIG FM; Puneet Vidyarthi, AVP and Head - Marketing & Digital Innovations, JCB India; Biswabaran Chakrabarti; Ashok Saini, Head, Marketing - Neurosciences & Vaccines, Abbott Laboratories; Farid Ahmed, DGM, Marketing - Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Apollo Tyres; Siddhartha Jain, Associate Director - Business Transformation, Perfetti Van Melle and among many other rural professionals.

Ernst & Young is the official tabulator for Flame Awards 2018.

Flame Awards Asia provides an opportunity for branding, networking and engaging with the top decision makers of corporate and media agencies. The event is expected to be attended by 300 delegates including top corporate executives, brand managers, agency and media heads.
